Museo dell'Agricoltura e del Mondo Rurale

Our idea was to create a museum where space and time could harmonically coexist.
This is the time and space that became, in our rural culture, voices and stories.
The museum wants to epitomize history and imagination, so that past reminiscences,
present deeds and future signs will manifest in the visitor’s eyes and mind.

The Museum aims to collect, preserve, study and valorise human testimonies, as well as the experience of peasants and craftsmen who lived in the lower and middle Po valley, east of Reggio Emilia, as it was at the beginning of the twentieth century before the advent of agricultural mechanization.

The museum also offers the following structures and services: archives, a library, photo, audio and video collections.
